• Only patient/ client is allowed into the treatment room with the exception of minor children and a personal aid if needed.

Welcome to D's Phoenix Massage Therapy where I will taylor your treatment to YOU. There are many "buzz" words where massage therapy is concerned. Words like; neuromuscular, myofascial, deep tissue and the list is endless. The truth is that most of us use several techniques to treat specific problems. Together we will develop an individual plan for you!

If you are a new client, you will be asked to fill out an online patient intake form that will be sent to your email. When it is completed it will be securely sent directly to your electronic chart for me to view. The intake is needed to treat you appropriately. If you are unable to fill it out before your appointment you will be asked to complete it upon arrival and it will take time away from your treatment.

Massage Therapy

The techniques I use include Swedish, neuromuscular (trigger point), myofascial, and deep tissue combinations. I work on people of any age from infants to adults including pregnancy massage. Your intake form is important to make sure you are healthy enough to have massage. There are a few conditions that could be complicated with massage.

Please note: If you need therapy for a specific problem or injury and this is the first time I will be seeing you for it, you will NOT be able to schedule online. I will need to determine approximately how long it will take to assess the problem, plan and implement treatment for you. Please call for an appointment.

Massage is subject to Ohio sales tax unless you have a prescription from your physician, dentist, or chiropractor. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

I graduated from nursing school and became a Registered Nurse in 1987, working in obstetrics, intensive care, and supervision. In 2004 I graduated from the Northwest Academy of Massotherapy in Maumee, Ohio. After passing state boards I opened my office in Fostoria, Ohio the same year. I offer several types of massage and formulate plans with you to better meet your needs for massage therapy. I also work in conjunction with your other healthcare professionals as needed to provide the best care possible.
